The Library, is situated in Al Ghat, Saudi Arabia and was developed by Badran Enterprises. It is a private library, beautifully situated amongst a date palm plantation. Its architecture is based on traditional construction method. For the landscape, we only used materials from the surroundings. The gardens were developed as a green oasis. Due to seasonal flooding from nearby river, the building was placed on a raised position. We used this to create a rolling landscape by modelling earthworks around this. A water feature was placed on a low-lying area, surrounded by hills. It was connected to the entrance.
