The client required a natural appearing landscape garden around their private villa. There was sufficient space using earthworks to define spaces. Earthworks also separated the private family garden from the public front garden and were used as a mount against the 5m high security boundary walls on the inside. Trees formed a frame and backdrop. Landscape features were placed according to client requirements. To create a large sustainable water body, a sunken feature made with local boulder slabs, visually enlarged the water body, while minimising water usage.
